Gross Motor Therapy

Gross motor delay can be a very worrisome for parents, but we can help. It can be hard for parents to know when their child should be meeting different milestones. Some examples may include:
At 6 months they should be able to roll from belly to back

At 8 months they should be able to roll from back to belly and sit independently

At 10 months they should be able to crawl on their hands and knees

At 16 months they should be able to take a few independent steps

At 2 years 4 months old they should start to jump

At 3 years 4 months old they should be able to go up and down the stairs with 1 foot on each step and without holding on

Check out our milestones tab to get further gross motor milestone information.
We help with gross motor development in older children that have a genetic diagnosis, experienced injury, stroke, or other brain trauma.
