Coordination
Upper and lower extremity coordination and motor planning are vital for a child’s recreational play skills. Our physical therapist work with your child to improve their bilateral coordination, using arms and legs together, including throwing, rock climbing, swimming, bike riding, and scootering. They take the time to facilitate movement and work on motor planning to allow your child to achieve their play goals. We utilize hand over hand assistance on various equipment and recreational toys to improve kids’ confidence, strength, and ability to generalize at home and in the community.
Call us today and make an appointment if your child needs assistance with coordination skills or bike riding. Call 763-595-0812 or email us at info@minnetonkatherapy.com to find out ways we can help your child.
