Tina Labarre

I have always enjoyed working with children and I can confidently say I have my dream job! I've found a passion in "helping kids be kids", working with children on improving their ability to participate in their daily activities, family time, and in their communities. I enjoy educating my families on developmental milestones and empowering families to find fun ways to work on those skills in their own environment.

Areas of Expertise: I have practiced as a pediatric occupational therapist, working primarily with children ages 1- 15 years with a variety of disabilities and diagnoses including Down syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delay, sensory processing disorder, feeding delays, and mental health diagnoses. My specialty areas of interest include sensory processing disorder, feeding, and mental health.

Education: I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and Masters of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.

Specialized Training: I am trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory (S.O.S.) approach to feeding. I am also trained in Handwriting Without Tears. I have attended courses concerning sensory processing & trauma, reflex integration, and postural stability.
