I love children and am passionate about treating kids of all ages with diverse backgrounds and abilities. Collaborating with parents in order to maximize a child’s functional performance in daily life is something I both enjoy and emphasize for each family’s unique situation. I am dedicated to providing effective treatment and making the therapeutic process fun and engaging for the child.
Areas of Expertise: I have worked primarily with children ages 1-16 years with a variety of disabilities and diagnoses including Down syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory processing disorder, developmental delay, handwriting/ fine motor difficulties, visual perception/ motor difficulties, low tone, and oral motor difficulty.
Education: I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana and Masters of Occupational Therapy degree from Bay Path University in Longmeadow, Massachusetts.
Specialized Training: I am trained in Therapeutic Listening and Handwriting Without Tears. I have attended courses regarding sensory processing, early intervention, and self- regulation.
